Create, edit or cancel a move request
This page shows every place where staff create, change, or cancel a move request. For what a move request is, see Move Requests overview.
What you need before starting
Section titled “What you need before starting”- The register is a Perpetual or Term register. A Crash Course register uses a direct move. See Make a direct move.
- The register is active. You cannot create or change a move request in an archived register.
- The student has a full place. A student on a trial cannot have a move request. Confirm the trial first.
The move request form
Section titled “The move request form”Every way of creating or editing a move request opens the same form. The form title is Move Request for and the student’s name.
- Under Preferred Days, switch on each day the student can attend. You must switch on at least one day.
- For each day you switched on, set the From and To times the student is free. Leave a time empty when the student has no limit on that side.
- Select Save Move Request.
Result: Swimio shows Move request saved successfully, and the window closes.
How the days and times are used
Section titled “How the days and times are used”A class fits the move request when, on at least one of the class days, the student is free for the whole class time. For example, a student free on Tuesday from 16:00 to 18:00 fits a Tuesday class from 16:30 to 17:15. They do not fit a Tuesday class from 17:30 to 18:30.
